On February 22, 2016, the United States Supreme Court heard oral argument in the ongoing dispute between Kingdomware Technologies, Inc. (“Kingdomware”) and the United States. That argument marked the apex of a dispute that commenced five years ago over a braising pan and an electric griddle, but which has since transformed into a controversy with billions of dollars in federal contracting funds hanging in the balance.
