Lucy is Of Counsel in the firm’s Construction/Surety and Litigation practice sections. She joined Coats Rose in 2009 and has been practicing law in the state of Texas for over 19 years. While earning her law degree at Texas Tech, Lucy served as the Vice President of Phi Delta Phi and was on the Board of Barristers, ABA National Moot Court Team, John Marshall National Moot Court Team and the TYLA State Moot Court Team. During her time at Rice University, Lucy was a National Merit Scholar and also a member of the Cycling Team.
Lucy is very active in the community and makes time each year to participate in the Bar None show, which is sponsored annually by the Dallas Bar. She sings with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, is a member of the Dallas Woman’s Club and the Dallas Museum of Art. Lucy has also served in various capacities on the board of the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, Junior Group.
Lucy’s practice focuses primarily on litigation and construction related matters.
