Jared is a Director in the Litigation section of Coats Rose, and is a contributing editor to The Business Suit, a publication of the Defense Research Institute. Through The Business Suit, Jared reports on current legal matters relating to commercial litigation in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. While pursuing his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, Jared served as a Judicial Extern for Judge Lynn N. Hughes in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Jared has a wide range of experience handling a variety of litigation, but focuses predominantly on commercial matters. He has represented corporations, businesses, individuals and municipalities in matters regarding commercial contract and leasing disputes, toxic tort exposures, insurance coverage matters, personal injury, wrongful death and property damage claims, premises liability suits, financial institution fraud and constitutional rights violations.
