Dave is a Director with Coats Rose and brings more than twenty years of experience to his practice and his clients. He clerked with Coats Rose while attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center, and joined as an Associate upon completion of his law degree. Dave became a shareholder with Coats Rose in 1991.
In his years with the Firm, Dave has tried in numerous jury trials, first chair, and argued multiple appeals with both Texas and Federal appellate courts. He has also handled arbitrations, including two conducted by the International Chamber of Commerce with hearings in Singapore and London.
David practices as a trial lawyer concentrating in insurance coverage and bad faith, on behalf of insureds and insurance companies, and personal injury defense litigation.
