Trisha is an Associate at the law firm of Coats Rose in the Labor & Employment and Litigation sections. Her goal is to provide strategic, creative, and cost-effective representation for her clients. Trisha has handled clients ranging from small local businesses with less than 10 employees to large national corporations with thousands of employees, and has assisted individual employees in conflicts with their employers. She also has a strong background in Personal Injury Defense, Collections, Professional License Defense, and Appellate Law.
Prior to earning her law degree, Trisha interned in the Fourteenth Court of Appeals under Justice Edelman, as well as the First Court of Appeals under Justice Mirabal. While completing her law degree, she was chosen to be an Advocate and Brief writer in the prestigious South Texas Trial Advocacy Program.
Trisha’s work is concentrated primarily in labor and employment, commercial litigation, personal injury defense, appellate law, corporate entity formation, professional license defense, contracts, insurance, and collections.
She assists her clients with both consulting and litigation matters, which can include questions or minor problems regarding business, personal injury, employment law, or appellate law matters. Trisha conducts in-house Training Seminars for client’s employees or supervisors on health care, social media, sexual harassment, workplace investigation, record keeping, and other business and employment topics. Additionally, she specializes in assisting her business clients form corporate entities such as a Limited Partnership (LP), Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Corporation (Corp.), or Limited Liability Company (LLC).
Trisha handles professional license defense services, and represents clients in all administrative and judicial challenges pertaining to their professional license, e.g. challenges to a client’s license to practice real estate, law, medical, pharmacy, nursing, teaching, counselors, engineers, architects, accountants, and insurance agents.
