Tim Green, Director with Coats Rose law firm, has been recognized by the City of Balch Springs for the firm’s work in passing Texas Senate Bill 1635 during the 83rd Texas Legislative Session.
The passage of TX SB1635 in 2013 lead to the consolidation of Dallas County Water Control & Improvement District No. 6, with the City of Balch Springs. Such effort ended sixty years of duplicative governmental structure inside the City of Balch Springs and is resulting in the streamlining of government and reduced costs.
