Scales, a 25-year veteran of the oil and gas industry, has built an extensive oil and gas practice focusing on matters involving title examination, due diligence title reviews, and the negotiation and evaluation of all manner of oil and gas agreements including leases, pooling agreements, right-of-way/easement/surface use agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and joint venture and joint operating agreements. Scales has also assisted clients in matters involving wind energy, solar energy, and groundwater leasing. He is licensed in Texas, Ohio, North Dakota and New Mexico.
