DALLAS – Oct. 6, 2017 – Coats Rose, P.C., a leading business transaction and litigation law firm, announces the addition of a new attorney to the firm’s Dallas office. Mark D. Wigder has joined as of counsel to Coats Rose’s corporate and business law practice.
Wigder represents public corporations and private companies in public and private financings, securities and corporate compliance matters, and mergers and acquisition transactions, as well as representation of broker-dealers, investment advisers, hedge funds and other private investment funds, and antitrust matters. He counsels clients with respect to general corporate and business law matters, securities law matters, including alternative public offerings, “going private” transactions, securities aspects of employee benefit plans, corporate governance and fiduciary duty issues, insider trading issues (including preparation of insider trading policies) and disclosure issues under SEC disclosure requirements. He also advises clients regarding structuring, negotiating, and documenting acquisitions, mergers, sales, recapitalizations, proxy contests and tender offers.
