NEW ORLEANS – January 21, 2019 – Coats Rose, P.C. is pleased to announce that Director Elizabeth Haecker Ryan has been appointed Vice-Chair – Membership for the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Data Technology Committee for the 2019 term.
Ryan is a director in the commercial litigation section of the New Orleans office. Her practice focus is general civil litigation, with a concentration in construction, transportation, environmental, insurance defense and coverage, admiralty and pharmaceutical and medical device law. Elizabeth has litigated matters involving toxic tort, class action, maritime personal injury and property damages; personal property damage arising out of fire, products liability, pharmaceuticals, interstate transportation of hazardous substances; and the sale by maritime transporters, and truck and auto litigation. Ryan also serves as a mediator and an umpire in insurance appraisal matters and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
