Coats Rose Represents Mixed-Use Developer in Creation of a "Defined Area"

HOUSTON – June 4 , 2019 – Coats Rose attorney Timothy Green, recently completed the representation of a developer in regards to the creation of 3,200 acre “defined area” inside the boundaries of a larger municipal utility district in Lumberton, Texas.  This structuring will allow the 3,200-acres to be developed at current market tax rates while imposing no additional tax burden on the remainder of the district.  The proposed development plans include a multi-phase residential and commercial development with open spaces and green belt areas.

He has been involved in the development of thousands of acres of land for residential and commercial purposes, and the issuance of over $15 billion of tax-exempt bonds for the financing of public infrastructure.
