HOUSTON – June 4 , 2019 – Coats Rose attorney Timothy Green, recently completed the representation of a developer in regards to the creation of 3,200 acre “defined area” inside the boundaries of a larger municipal utility district in Lumberton, Texas. This structuring will allow the 3,200-acres to be developed at current market tax rates while imposing no additional tax burden on the remainder of the district. The proposed development plans include a multi-phase residential and commercial development with open spaces and green belt areas.
