Coats Rose Austin attorneys recently hosted a Commercial Real Estate Super Round Table luncheon for commercial brokers, builders and developers. The Super Round Table was attended by invitation only by over 15 key top real estate professionals in the greater Austin area. The event featured director Racy L. Haddad as speaker and Tommy Holmes of Capital Title of Austin, who served as a moderator for the event. Carl Pikus of IPX 1031 Exchange, was a featured speaker who discussed “opportunity zones vs. the 1031 Exchange” as well as explaining the true ownership of “opzo” investments and their exact tax benefits.
Haddad provided case studies on key legal issues related to real estate acquisitions, development, entitlements, and commercial brokerage. Holmes, who has over 40 years in the real estate industry, worked with attendees keeping the topics relevant, timely and allowing attendees to ask questions of the presenters.
