HOUSTON – June 15, 2021 – Coats Rose, P.C. announces the addition of four attorneys to the firm’s Houston and Dallas offices. Hicham Chiali joins the public finance practice in the Houston office, and Victor Cristales joins the public finance practice in the firm’s Dallas office. Kevin Geiseke and Stephen McCallister both join the real estate practice in the Houston office.
Chiali is an associate in the public finance section of the Houston office. He represents clients in real estate development, municipal utilities and other special purpose districts, and land use. He focuses his practice primarily on public finance and real estate law, including the creation and administration of special purpose districts throughout Texas, particularly in the greater Houston area. Chiali also has experience handling estate administration, contract disputes, business succession planning, and corporate tax.
Cristales is an associate in the public finance section in the Dallas office. He focuses his practice primarily on Public Finance and Real Estate law, including the creation and administration of special purpose districts throughout Texas, particularly in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. His practice involves representing clients before various governmental entities, including: Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, cities, counties, and various regional service providers.
Gieseke is of counsel in the real estate section in the Houston office. He represents clients in the acquisition, sale, development, financing and leasing of unimproved and improved real property. His clients range from those in the special purpose district, real estate developer, retail, and other commercial real estate industries. Gieseke has experience handling mergers and acquisitions in both the real estate and corporate markets ranging in value from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars.
McCallister is an associate in the real estate section in the Houston office. His practice involves representation of clients in matters related to real estate development, banking and general corporate matters. He represents lending institutions, institutional investors, real estate developers, homebuilders and others in the commercial real estate and banking industries, in connection with all aspects of real estate acquisition, leasing, financing, preparation and negotiation of ground leases, contracts, development agreements, construction financing and permanent financing documents. He also assists his business clients with corporate governance documents, commercial contracts and financial transactions to assist his clients’ in their business ventures.
