Chelsea Fitzgerald authored the article, “Worth a Second Look: Opportunity Zone Literacy in Real Estate Transactions,” published in the 2022 January/February issue of the American Bar Association (ABA) Real Property, Trust and Estate Property and Probate Magazine.
In this article, Chelsea discusses the value that Opportunity Zones present for clients engaged in real estate development and encourages attorneys to familiarize themselves with the tax incentives available to investors through investment in Opportunity Zone Funds. She explains that Opportunity Zones will continue to be a very real consideration for investors into 2027, and that while Opportunity Zone Funds may not be the main source of funds to driving a project, they can certainly push tentative projects to more solid ground.
