Bryan is a Director in the Austin office, specializing in environmental and administrative law and litigation. He helps clients navigate contested permit proceedings; environmental regulatory and permit compliance; environmental due diligence in transactions; contaminated property assessments and remediation; environmental, health, and safety audits; and environmental enforcement actions and litigation so they can construct, operate, and expand their facilities.
Bryan assists clients in matters arising under federal and state environmental laws and regulations, and represents clients in federal and state courts and before federal and state administrative agencies, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Railroad Commission of Texas, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings.
Bryan counsels clients on environmental permitting and compliance issues, and represents clients in administrative hearings, enforcement proceedings, citizen suits, and state and federal lawsuits involving environmental statutory and common law claims. He also routinely assists clients in responding to spills and releases, assessing environmental conditions at industrial and commercial sites, and remediating and monitoring contaminated properties.
