Kevin is an Associate in the Public Finance practice in the firm’s Austin office. His practice is focused primarily on public finance, special district creation, litigation, legislative affairs, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Coats Rose, Kevin worked for the State of Texas in various roles. His experience includes roles with the Texas Senate, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Kevin received his J.D. and a Certificate in Governmental Affairs from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2016. As a law student, Kevin completed his government externship requirement by working full-time for a semester at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environmental Enforcement Section. Kevin received his B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy from Michigan State University in 2013.
