Michael is Of Counsel in the Public Finance practice in the firm’s Houston office. He specializes in the representation of municipal utility districts, special purpose districts, cities, and landowners. Michael is experienced in all aspects of the representation of local governments.
Michael has extensive experience in public finance, municipal operations, taxation, real estate development, civil construction litigation, corporate transactions, public infrastructure projects, environmental regulations, and governmental compliance. He also serves as an expert advisor to national and international investment firms with public service company ownership interests.
Michael received his B.B.A. majoring in Economics from Baylor University in 2004. He also attended the Maastricht University School of Economics. Mr. Bacon received a J.D. of Law in 2008. He has been honored by the Pro Bono College of the Texas State Bar for outstanding contributions to the delivery of legal services to low-income Texans.
