Shaun is an Associate in the Public Finance practice in the firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice primarily on Public Finance and Real Estate law, including the creation and administration of special purpose districts throughout Texas, particularly in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. His practice involves representing clients before various governmental entities, including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, cities, counties, and various regional service providers.
Shaun earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law and his M.B.A from SMU’s Cox School of Business, where he served as an Articles Editor for the International Law Review Association. During law school, he gained practical experience through a legal externship and judicial internships with the Honorable Ed Kinkeade of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Honorable Veretta Frazier of the 44th Civil District Court of Texas. He also conducted research focused on corporate governance matters.
